The Annual Parish Meeting is this evening at Holy Rood Church and is an important event in the ongoing life of the church so please do try and come to hear  reports from the past year and to look forward together to the year to come.  There will also be elections to PCC and Deanery Synod and the presentation of the Charlie Crane Cross to someone who has been a faithful ‘behind the scenes’ servant. The evening starts 6.30pm with a short act of worship. Those standing for PCC & Deanery are listed on the flip chart in the foyer.

There will be an adult BAPTISM SERVICE on the morning of Sunday 25 May, 10am at Holy Rood. If you are interested in being baptised or would like to find out more, please speak to Stephen, Daron, Colin or Alec. This is also the Sunday that our

guest Prom Praise musicians will be helping to lead the music, so it will be a very special service.

ART EXHIBITION

We will be hosting an art exhibition by Anne House, one of the top silk painters in the UK. These 30 pictures have been shown internationally and will be on display in Holy Rood Church from Tuesday 27th May to Sunday 1st June. We will need stewards to welcome people and also to sell prints of the works - this is where most conversations will happen with visitors.  People are also needed to serve refreshments. Stewards will be working in pairs, so do sign up with a friend if you would like to help. More information is on display in the lobby or speak to Diane Girling. Thank you for your help with this Hope 08 project.
