Roots group meets every Tuesday evening. Our membership is often changing and we are currently a group of about 15 whose ages range from 18 to 40. The purpose of Roots is to learn more about and grow closer to God through studying the bible and sharing our experiences and ideas about Christian living, enjoy and grow in our Christian fellowship with one another, support each other through prayer, friendship and in practical ways.
Our meetings usually consist of a structured study, followed by time for prayer. All Roots members take responsibility for leading the group and in this way we develop and encourage each other's gifts and skills. We also get together for social evenings/days when we meet at the pub, have BBQs, go to the cinema, or out for dinner.
New people are always joining Roots, and anyone interested in the above is welcome.
