We aim:

• To encouarge all church members to give with a generous heart, out of thanksgiving to God.
• To encourage members to tithe (10%) their income, whilst recognising that this tithe will be split between the Church and other charities/organisations supported by individuals.
• To pay our Parish Share to the Diocese of Portsmouth in full.
• To encourage as many people as possible into planned giving by Direct Debit, Standing Order or Envelope Scheme
• To encourage members wherever possible to Gift Aid their gifts.
• To prepare a budget every Autumn and to present the accounts at the Annual meeting in April.
• To give away 10% of our income to a mixture of local / national and international charities.
• To support emergency and other occasional appeal through special fundrasing.
• To be in partnership with FOCOC over the maintenance of the historic church building of St.Edmund's.
• To raise extra monies on an occasional basis, for specific projects, through prayer and a gift day.
