The St Edmund's Congregation Team meets on behalf of the 8 o'clock and 9.30 congregations of St Edmund's, Crofton Old Church.

The group acts as a forum to discuss and maintain the services at St. Edmund's, listening both to guidance from the parish and to reactions from the congregation. It liaises closely with the Friends of Crofton Old Church (click here to connect) which maintains the fabric of the church.

The group meets 3 or 4 times a year as arranged, at the home of Robin Green.

The group seeks to ensure that:-

• worshippers at St Edmund's are welcomed and valued
• the largely traditional style of worship used (Book of Common Prayer at 8 a.m., modern liturgical Morning Service at 9-30 a.m.) is appropriate for the congregation.
• administration within services flows smoothly.
• good fellowship is maintained within the congregation, and between the congregations of St Edmund's and the parish as a whole.
• the pastoral needs of the worshippers are addressed.
