Meetings are held in Holy Rood church Centre on the second and fourth Thursday each month.
We have tea and biscuits served on arrival between 1.45 and 2.15pm, when the kitchen staff (we have a rota of helpers) finish to be ready for the start of the meeting at 2.30pm.Each member has a programme for a year and we have talks, slide shows, singers and entertainers.
We are a mixed group - all retired - about 8 men out of a total of 45 - 50 members each session.
We are able to use the Community bus for those members unable to come under their own steam or with transport from family or friends.
We have one or two outings a year and special occasion lunches.
We are able to meet at the Rotary Wheelhouse beach hut once a month from May to September.
All this excitement is available for just £6 subscription each year, but sadly we are limited to folk from the Stubbington/Hill Head area, and currently have a waiting list. Nonetheless, a warm welcome awaits you when you do join us.
